Cancellation Policy

We will accept a cancellation of the program up to November 1, 2023 for any reason, and you will no longer be responsible for the balance of the contract. 

Any cancellation will result in forfeiting your $2,500 deposit plus the first installment of $1,250. At that point, you will not have access to the Stretch program without applying for it on your own.

For the gathering in Costa Rica: Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended when planning travel. You can use our suggested Travel Guard Insurance online and choose from several policy options.

Additional information for the retreat:

Please book your flight to arrive at the Juan Santamaría International Airport – SJO on January 29th before 10:00 am, and to depart on February 4 after 5:00 pm.  As funny as this sounds, be sure you are flying to San Jose in Costa Rica and not San Jose in California. It’s happened, much to everyone surprise and dismay.

Note: there is another International airport in Costa Rica called Liberia. It is advised NOT to fly in there as it will require another flight to get you either to SJO for group transport or you will have to fly at your own expense to Quepos (about $100-$150 one way.)

If you are coming in for the Discover Costa Rica Day on January 28, plan to arrive either by 9:00 am on that day or come in a day earlier (accomodations at your own expense but we are happy to arrange them for you).

Group transportation will be provided for you to and from the retreat center if you are there at the appointed time – 11 am on January 29. Note that it is 2-3 hours to the retreat center and private transportation would be expensive. We recommend coming in the day before.

The retreat begins in the afternoon of the 29th, so make sure to schedule your flight accordingly.

Your Airport Transportation for the Retreat

Transportation will be provided for you to and from the retreat center on the January 29th and the Feb. 4th as long as you arrive at the designated times.

After the retreat closes on Feb. 4th,  our group transport will arrive at the airport around 3 pm. This means your flight needs to depart no earlier than 5 pm.

If your flights are on other dates and times, airport transportation is at your own expense. Please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you with the arrangements. 

Our host at Lapazul will be arranging the transport, so please make sure to provide us with all your travel details at least two weeks before departure (preferably much earlier), so we can set it up accordingly.
