Key Pieces of Advice from Jen:

Not every job/business is going to fit your needs and wants in life. “It doesn’t mean that that job is going to match your skills, your talents, your gifts, your belief system, or the type of person that you are.”

Being an entrepreneur is more than just going to work every day. “There’s a desire to really be able to tap into all of your gifts and skills and talents and strengths within your work… It’s actually who you are, an expression of who you are.”

It takes time and commitment in order to be successful. “You’re making a choice to make a shift in your life that over the long run you’ll be happier with, but there are some things you have to put in place at first.”

Being self-employed does not mean building your business alone. “As human beings, we are hardwired to be within community.”
