Have you ever had something happen that instantaneously changed how you viewed your life?

Something that changed the way you looked at how your life would move forward?

I had one of those moments when a friend of mine unexpectedly passed away. She was driving on a rainy Friday afternoon, and it could’ve happened to either one of us, really. We were doing the same things; both driving around Atlanta in the rain, very dangerous conditions. She lost her life, and I didn’t.

I don’t know why that affected me like it did, but I suddenly looked at myself and thought:

“I don’t ever want my life to end without feeling that I have truly done what I wanted to do with my life. Without feeling that my life had meaning and purpose. I don’t want my life to end without me understanding why I was living it the way I was.”

And that’s when I went in search of a process that would help me understand what my purpose really is. What is my “why” in life?

Without a “why” and understanding what makes that “why” so important, you end up feeling like you’re living your life on autopilot. You’re doing things that maybe, at one time, you wanted to do, but they’re not satisfying you now. Or you’re constantly looking for validation because you aren’t sure if that’s what you’re meant to do.

Personally, I think we’re on this earth for a purpose. And I want to make sure that I’m truly living my purpose, and most importantly, that I’m giving it my all. I want to make sure that when I make a decision to do something, that I do it with full belief that it’s the right thing for me to do, and that certainty comes from understanding what my “why” is.

When that happened to my friend, I looked back and thought:

“That’s it. I’m spending every moment I have, every opportunity that I have with my family.”

So I started doing just that. I probably gave up a lot of opportunities, probably missed out on a bigger retirement, but I knew that I was doing what I was put on this earth to do.

This free Wheel of Life Tool gave me perspective on my entire life, not just one area, and that was important to me. My personal life as well as my business are important to me.

What should I be doing with my business?

What is my purpose in my business?

How am I called upon to give and to make a contribution?

There’s only one life, and I want to live it to the fullest and give back as much as I can, and I want to feel with certainty that I’m doing what I’m meant to do. And the Wheel of Life Tool was the beginning of that for me.

So if you’d like to try it out, I’m giving it away for free – no strings attached – here. I hope that you’ll take advantage of it and discover for yourself the path you are meant to be on.

Best of luck to you,
Lorna Rasmussen
