What’s stopping you from having the success you know you’re capable of?

What’s stopping you from doing what you really want to do with your life?

What’s stopping you from being the person you know you can be, and having a life you love?

What’s stopping you?

The heart of success lies in the answer to these questions.

When I asked myself those questions, when I finally looked at my life and decided to make a change, I realized that I didn’t believe I was capable of changing things myself.

I thought everybody else was in control. I thought they were the ones deciding how my life played out.

As I mentioned last week, I felt like a cork in the ocean. Whatever happened had nothing to do with me and all I could do was react. I had no control of where my circumstances took me.

When I realized that only I was responsible for my life, everything changed. I was proud of my accomplishments, but I also understood that when something wasn’t going the way I wanted it to, there was no one to blame but myself.

When you complete the Wheel of Life and see where you’re doing well, be proud of that! You deserve it.

But when you see where things aren’t working out the way you want them to, stop and ask yourself, “What’s stopping me? Why don’t I have the things I want in my life and what can I do about it?”

Now complete the Wheel of Life again, except this time imagine your life exactly the way you want it to be – imagine it’s perfect in every way.

Why don’t you have that now? What’s separating you from a life you love?

When you can answer those questions, you’ll begin to see who you are and what you’re capable of. You’ll see what your strengths are and what’s holding you back. You’ll know what you need to start doing and how to move forward.

Success is a mind game, so start with your mind and complete the Wheel of Life.

All the best,
Lorna Rasmussen
