“Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass.” – Paul J. Meyer

These words truly changed my life.

I recently got home from a 2-month trip to see my family and sell my book The Absolute Best Way For Women To Make Money, and it really served as a confirmation that what Paul said above was true.

Mindset really is everything. He was right.

Think about it; “Vividly imagine”, “Ardently desire”, “Sincerely believe”, and “Enthusiastically act upon” are all about your mindset.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be covering the other parts of this quote in detail, but today we’re going to talk specifically about “vividly imagine” and what Paul really meant by that.

When he says “vividly imagine”, he doesn’t mean, “Think about what it would be like if you earned $100,000”. It would be nice to have… it would be nice to earn $1,000,000 too… but what does that really mean for you? What impact is it going to have on you?

Vividly imagine your life differently; who’s in your life, what’s in your life, what you can do and what you are doing?

For me, it was all about the place I wanted to live. The beautiful property I live on now in Costa Rica came about because I vividly imagined it. I could see every tree, every building, every blade of grass on this property in my mind.

Now, that may sound crazy to some people, but it’s truly what happened. I used to draw pictures of the property I wanted. Yes, it was slightly different; it’s not an exact replica of the one in my imagination, but I envisioned this property.

At the time in which I was still looking, I was open to different ideas. I was open to renting instead of buying, open to living in different places, etc. But nothing really seemed to fit with what I’d seen in my mind so many times before.

When the realtor showed me this property, all I could think was “I have to have this!”

It came straight out of the picture I had vividly imagined about a place that I would live.

I really didn’t have the money to buy it at the time, but things fell into place to make that purchase possible, and I believe we can all make that happen. By using our imagination, by really digging deep into what we want in our lives, we create something that – when the time comes – we will find the resources for. The opportunities. The people. The money. Everything will fall into place if we are pursuing something deep within ourselves to make it a reality.

That is the first step in the mindset that Paul J. Meyer spoke about.

Until next week,
