By now, you may be thinking “Well, I’m only doing 1 or 2 of these, so I’m fine.” but committing even ONE of these sins can put your business OUT of business.

As scary as it sounds, that’s the truth.

That’s why it’s so important to me that you know about each and every one of these deadly sins, and how to fix them.

Now, before I tell you Sin #4, please don’t take offense. This is a major problem that a lot of people have, so hear me out on this one…

Sin #4: You don’t really believe in or understand the value of what you’re bringing to the marketplace.

When you compare yourself to similar products, you should be able to see what makes your offer better than the competition. You should be able to feel deep inside you that your product is something that has tremendous value, and that it’ll make a huge difference in people’s lives.

If you don’t really believe that your product is better than others, or don’t see the value in it, then there’s no point in trying to sell it.

It’s really interesting when you see someone representing a product or service. Sometimes, you’ll get a sense that they don’t know as much about their offer as they should. (This is something you might’ve seen if you followed my advice and did some window shopping after Part 1.) 99% of the time, when this happens, it’s because they don’t really believe in their product. After all, why learn about something if you aren’t passionate about it?

For example, as someone in network marketing, often times people will come up to me and say:

Lorna, what do you do when people ask if this is a pyramid scheme or one of those illegal things?”

At first, I said that doesn’t happen to me…

But once I really thought about it, I realized that it DOES happen, but I don’t hear it.

I’m focused on what I do, and how I did it. People say that you can’t make any money at those things. It’s a scam, it’s not worth it. But I’ve made a very good living my entire career at this. The last 20 years all above 6 figures.

My point is, it’s a matter of belief; and when you have that belief down to the very bottom of your heart, that’s when you come across in a way that makes people listen. It’s the belief in what you’re doing. Your passion. That’s what makes a difference.

I want to encourage you to learn everything you can about your product. Make comparisons with others and really take a look at your business. Be proud of what you do, because it’s in that pride you’ll find you are going to be very successful.
